Shame that wasn't said in game or that would qualify for this thread. BHA is the main reason rangers are booted as being useless, if that's the best it can do.

Ya know, BHA was considered fantastic before we got stuff like Technobabble...it's still nice for keeping one particular boss quiet, or even a mob if you run epidemic as well.

No suggestions, no request to run anything else. He didn't answer PM either.

If it was a dungeon, elite area or some kind of SC, I would agree, but a VQ is just a long, boring trudge with no serious challenge without glaring mistakes. There are about two dozen other ranger elites more "useless" than BHA for general purpose, and if you'd honestly turn it away you're as ridiculous as the person in-game.

It's not the greatest but far from the dreaded -less words. "Worthless" and "useless" are entirely subjective and it's people that think this HM is PvP and only the most efficient (read: two, maybe three) builds can be run that completely ruins the fun of grouping.

If you are a ranger bringing BHA then you are adding a big fat nothing to any party. There certainly are many many useless ranger elites, but BHA is the worst because people actually equip it. If Anet removed it from the game then rangers would get better by that action. The only thing worse than a bad skill is a bad skill that people use!

BHA isn't the worst, it can serve 1 purpose, if you're running a team build which has 0 shutdown and 0 AoE damage, but it has a tank, then BHA + epidemic could be slightly useful.

Hmm...run BHA and have it miss half the time while the enemy it actually dazes 5 seconds later....or...bring something good, hmm.

Agreed, and rangers aside, there was melee, SoS and a SS necro. Without a strong backline we're the only support they have, and as you'd expect, it was like finding water in the desert when a healer came along. Any type of mitigation and shutdown should be welcome as we didn't need any more damage.

Read the above party configuration and explain what would have been "good". Any damage build would have been redundant, and SoS (which I can run) was covered. Also, if you miss half the time with BHA you are doing it wrong.
And bring something good? Like he even asked for it, let alone he advertises LF panic+mm afterwords, as if they were growing on trees. The necro in the party was SS and another from a different group didn't have the skills for a good build.
Everyone needs to consider that you don't get anything you want with PUGs, you get to pick from who's available and searching. We rangers were there and others weren't. It takes a narrow mind to boot people like that.

Last week in Kamadan. I arrive in US4 next to someone spamming to buy -5/20%. I say have one I will sell for 5k. They counter with 3.5K and I forget him and change district to go buy some lockpicks. They keep chasing the sale after I tell them I have lost interest in haggling over coins. They get upset because I am not willing to waste time haggling and call me noob and fail.
I say "Me and my 5 GWAMM's laugh off your pitiful claim of Noob"
Their reply was "GWAMM's??????????"

@ Neon, if you don't have the permission of the guy to post his name, you have to black it out too. Although it is pretty funny

I'm not sure whats funnier...
the poorly thought out scam or the fact that he thinks there is a "boss" of GuildWars. He could have at least took the effort to say "president of ArenaNet".

I dunno, I don't think anyone (especially not ANet) would have a problem with publicizing the name of a scammer (even if he is an incredibly stupid scammer).
The other guy in all chat, though, should definitely have been blacked out.

Here's a couple of over-zealous players trying to make some money...
This one was two days ago in LA.
This one was a couple of months ago in Kamadan (before the merc-hero update)
Makes me laugh

Nop, but I think some guru rule dictates it. In trader's outpost "Trade of the Day" thread, they ask for it too. It's also to protect his privacy, although he's a retard.
